So this past weekend may have been one of my most productive weekends this semester.  I reworked my entire resume, did a truck load of homework, and made a huge dent in my massive to-do list.  Impressed?!  Me too.

Today the weather was absolutely gorgeous.  Sadly I was not able to be outside for very long, but I definitely took advantage of every second that I could!  I put together a very springy outfit, and had a hilarious photo shoot with the best friend.  Check it out.

Today was awesome you guys.  It was so beautiful out which puts seriously everyone in a good mood.  I even had some great classes today and I don't even have much homework.  Aaand there's only one day until the weekend!  Score.


So ya see this lipstick?  It's my new fave.  I love that it's so bright and fun.  Plus, I got a lot of compliments on it {which is never bad}.

Even better news?  The awesome day is not over yet.

Sorry I'm so awkward.  It's been an awkward time since I last posted, I have real awkward pictures today, and it's Tuesday {which is also awkward}.

So here's story time for ya'll.

Today I wore my cute wedgie-heel-things which make me like normal people height since I'm normally a shorty at 5'2".  I passed a friend {who shall remain nameless.  Giant.} and here's how the convo went:

Me: "Hiya friend!"
Friend:  "Whoa! I never noticed how short you were!"
Me: Blank face. "Uhhhh yeah I guess I'm pretty short."
Friend:  "I'm like a whole foot taller than you."
Me: Awkward laugh.  "Welp, gotta run!"

Stellar.

Okay okay, I know I've been MIA for over a week.  I could dish out a bunch of excuses, but to sum it all up I've just been busy.  Can we still be friends?  Kay good.

This past weekend I was in St. Louis, Missouri for my college choir, and we had a free day Saturday during Mardi Gras {in case you weren't aware, St. Louis is the 2nd biggest Mardi Gras celebration next to New Orleans}.  It was seriously awesome.  I am now fully convinced that St. Louis is the city of dreams.  I will post pictures later this week, but rest assured that it was a bomb dot com time.

This week is midterms, which means I have a ton of homework and studying to do before the end of the week.  BUT then I have a whole week of freedom.  The countdown has officially begun...

Hiya peeps!  Inspired by my favorite blogger Syndey, I will be doing Awkward and Awesome Thursday today!  Sweet right?!

Awkward
- The weather today.  Seriously, what's with the gloomy skies?  The weather here is bipolar lately, every other day is either beautiful or yucky.
- My foreign music professor spelling "ritardation" {as in the musical term for slowing down} as "retardation" up on the blackboard.  And then two people in my class whipping out their camera phones to take pictures.  Reeeeal mature.
- Crazy bangs {fondly referred to as "Dublin Bangs"}.  'Nuff said.
- My emotional investment in the show One Tree Hill.  You would think that these people were my dearest friends at the fact that I cry watching nearly every episode.  Best. Show. EVER.
- The word "Qi" in scrabble.  Seriously, what is that?!
- Being half-way sick for like two weeks.  Laaaaame.
- Cuddling with the best friend and her making me be the big spoon.  Normally this would be an awesome, but I am shorty.  My head was like in the middle of here back.  Not ideal spooning.
- Trying to type on my new iPhone {which is an awesome}.  This whole autocorrect thing?  Not my friend.

Awesome
- My new iPhone {as mentioned above}.  App store?  Rockin.
- The home cooked meal I get to eat tonight at the best friend's house!  Campus food is less than ideal.  And by less than ideal, I mean awful.  But tonight I get some real delicious food.  Yummmmm.
- Not one, but two new episodes of the Kardashians this week.  That is double the awesomeness.  My obsession is getting out of control...
- It's the WEEKEND!
- Acing my quiz this morning.  In one of my hardest classes.  BAM.
- The Glee episode this week.  So. Awesome.  Even more awesome - Principal Figgins referring to Ke$ha as "Kee Dollar-sign Ha".  Hilarious.
- How much I've said "chicka chicka yeah" this week.  Wait that's awkward?  Nahhh...

So guess what?!  I'm done with all of my tests!  YAAAY!  I'm so ready for the weekend to finally be here so I can spend time with my friends and have a break from classes.  Plus, a break from homework.  Can't beat that!

So you know the show Toddlers and Tiaras?  I am slightly obsessed.  Seriously guys, it's hilarious.  These kids are out of control.  They wear fake teeth!  FAKE TEETH.  Awesome.

Welp, gotta go do some homework.  Wish me luck guys, who knows how long I'll be able to focus for.  Especially with this show on...
