Hiya peeps!  Inspired by my favorite blogger Syndey, I will be doing Awkward and Awesome Thursday today!  Sweet right?!

Awkward
- The weather today.  Seriously, what's with the gloomy skies?  The weather here is bipolar lately, every other day is either beautiful or yucky.
- My foreign music professor spelling "ritardation" {as in the musical term for slowing down} as "retardation" up on the blackboard.  And then two people in my class whipping out their camera phones to take pictures.  Reeeeal mature.
- Crazy bangs {fondly referred to as "Dublin Bangs"}.  'Nuff said.
- My emotional investment in the show One Tree Hill.  You would think that these people were my dearest friends at the fact that I cry watching nearly every episode.  Best. Show. EVER.
- The word "Qi" in scrabble.  Seriously, what is that?!
- Being half-way sick for like two weeks.  Laaaaame.
- Cuddling with the best friend and her making me be the big spoon.  Normally this would be an awesome, but I am shorty.  My head was like in the middle of here back.  Not ideal spooning.
- Trying to type on my new iPhone {which is an awesome}.  This whole autocorrect thing?  Not my friend.

Awesome
- My new iPhone {as mentioned above}.  App store?  Rockin.
- The home cooked meal I get to eat tonight at the best friend's house!  Campus food is less than ideal.  And by less than ideal, I mean awful.  But tonight I get some real delicious food.  Yummmmm.
- Not one, but two new episodes of the Kardashians this week.  That is double the awesomeness.  My obsession is getting out of control...
- It's the WEEKEND!
- Acing my quiz this morning.  In one of my hardest classes.  BAM.
- The Glee episode this week.  So. Awesome.  Even more awesome - Principal Figgins referring to Ke$ha as "Kee Dollar-sign Ha".  Hilarious.
- How much I've said "chicka chicka yeah" this week.  Wait that's awkward?  Nahhh...

So guess what?!  I'm done with all of my tests!  YAAAY!  I'm so ready for the weekend to finally be here so I can spend time with my friends and have a break from classes.  Plus, a break from homework.  Can't beat that!

So you know the show Toddlers and Tiaras?  I am slightly obsessed.  Seriously guys, it's hilarious.  These kids are out of control.  They wear fake teeth!  FAKE TEETH.  Awesome.

Welp, gotta go do some homework.  Wish me luck guys, who knows how long I'll be able to focus for.  Especially with this show on...

Wanna know what's awkward?  When you wave at someone you know across campus and they just look at you like you're a crazy.  Wanna know something extra awkward?  That happened to me twice today.  Seriously people?  I know you!

Another awkward thing - how often the best friend and I eat Jimmy Johns.  Their pickles?  Seriously amazing.  Except for the freezing cold walk back to our room today and the flurries expected for tonight.  Mother Nature was not my friend today.  Not. My. Friend.

Since I've been a bomb dot com student today and done a ton of studying, I have nothing to do tonight but watch the Bachelor and the new Kardashian episode.  And that, my friends, is awesome!

Busy, busy, busy.  Lots of things to do today: homework, work, and cleaning.  Ick.  But enough complaining.  The weather out is beautiful!  Seriously guys, it's going to be sixty on Thursday!  {In Iowa that is practically bikini weather!}  Only downside is that since the snow is melting, everything is soggy and muddy.  At least it's not icy though, right?!

So kids, I gotta admit - my life is kinda boring right now.  Oh wait!  I forgot to tell you that I broke my toe on Friday.  Aaaaand my bangs have been doing this weirdy part thing lately.  Exciting stuff?  No?  Shooters...

Well I suppose it's time for me to go get some stuff done.  Hopefully the procrastination will not kick in until after I get everything done.  Wish me luck!

Today was a great Valentine's Day.  Not because I got a hundred roses from a secret admirer, but because I was able to spend it with my incredibly amazing friends who I love and adore.  How could it get any better?

Despite my great day, I have oodles of studying to get done because I have three tests next week.  YIKES.  But don't worry friends, I'm way on top of it.

Yes friends, the weekend is finally here.  I must admit, today has been AWESOME.  Today was the first day in a long time that I have literally nothing to do.  Awesome, right?

Right now I'm doing my favorite things:
1.  Hanging out with my two best friends Abby and Madeline.
2.  The Kardashians are on.
3.  I'm doing makeup.  Love.
4.  Drinking wine out of my tiki glass.
5.  Blogging, obvs. {In case you were wondering, that is short for obviously.}
6.  Listening to my favorite songs and having dance parties.  No judgement.

Hope everyone has a stellar weekend!  Mine will be full of sushi, mexican, margaritas, birthday celebrations, and lots and lots of love!

P.S. if you couldn't tell, today was the funnest photo shoot yet.  Climbing on top of a huge snow mound was hilarious.

So this is going to be a short post, because I'm busy watching GLEE with my brother!  It is a bomb dot com episode.  I also have a ton of homework I need to start.  Yuck.


How much longer until the weekend?

today it was one degree outside.

No joke.  ONE DEGREE.  It was horrifying.

On the bright side, I had two classes cancelled today.  TWO!  Which means I got to sleep in, get some homework done, and watch Sex and the City on E!  How awesome is that?!  I'm also going out to dinner with the best friend, and the other best friend {who is also my sorority little sis!}  This means two nights in a row of off campus food!  YUMMMM!

Tonight my parents are leaving for Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic, which means I get to "watch" my brother {a.k.a. hang out with him} for a whole week.  In case you were wondering, my brother is the coolest person on the face of the planet!  Be jealous.

I'm also looking to get a nice camera, so if anyone has any good recommendations please let me know!  I am not very knowledgeable about cameras and I can use all the help I can get!

Oh my God!  I forgot to tell you.  I got bangs!  My hair is so now.

Anyone catch the Legally Blonde quote?  If so, you win.  YAAAY!  {Okay, so you don't really win anything, but I'm definitely impressed!}  Aaand Cecilia dyed my hair.  And by Cecilia, I mean my best friend Madeline.  Confusing, right?  When she was little instead of telling people at school that her mom cut her hair, she would tell them that Cecilia cut her hair.  How stinking cute is that?

Today was freezing and busy, but tonight I ordered Chinese food and I'm watching the bachelor.  Doesn't get much better than that, people!  Sadly, homework is calling my name {again with the procrastination thing...} and I've gotta study study study.  Guess it's time to hit the books.  Lame.

1.  My birthday {April 18} is also International Juggler's Day.

Last minute post, but extra happy. :)

Today I got to go on a sisters dinner with the best friend {meet her in this post or at her blog}.  This may seem confusing because my only sibling is my awesome brother.  Luckily, I have an amazing best friend with an amazing family who have greeted me with open arms.  Tonight I got to go to dinner with best friend and two of her sisters.  Guys, it was like I had real sisters!  We went to Olive Garden and ate our body weight in the unlimited salad and breadsticks.  Yummmm.

So bad news: no snow day.  Good news: all classes before 10am were cancelled.  Bad news: I didn't have any classes before 10am.  Really?
BUT it's okay, because I happen to really like Wednesdays.  {I know, I'm a weirdy.}  Wednesdays are my lightest class load, I'm done by 4pm, and it's only one day away from Thursdays which means the weekend!  But let's not get too ahead of ourselves people...

Since I'm officially done with classes for the day, I'm going to watch the Kardashians {shocker, right?}, clean my room, do a little homework, and spend some time with my bestest friends.  Aaaand I'm wearin new socks.  Jealous much?

One thing you should know about me - I'm a procrastinator.  And I'm not talking about "oh, I always wait to do my homework until the night before" or lame things like that.  I procrastinate everything.  Without fail.  Remember that room cleaning I was talking about earlier?  Yeah.  I'm procrastinating that right now.  Guess I should go work on that one.

...Oh wait.  The Kardashians just came back on.

In case you couldn't tell by the pictures, it's snowing.  No, not just snowing.  It's a blizzard.  And you know what that means?  It's freeeeeeezing.  Walking to classes becomes a treacherous adventure across a frozen tundra.  Sounds intimidating right?  'Cause it is.

But you know what's just grand when the weather outside is frightful?  Snuggling up and watching TV and popping popcorn.  {Especially One Tree Hill.  Amazing.}

Okay, so I have a favor for you all.  Pretty much my entire campus has only one thing on their mind right now.  Snow day.  So here's where you come in:  I need everyone to cross their fingers and toes and wish for no classes tomorrow.  Think you can do that?  I thought so.  So thanks, and watch out for frost bite!
